The Care Certificate is the general name for the agreed training standards people working in various healthcare environments need to meet before they can safely work unsupervised. It is applicable to people who are new to healthcare and those changing roles or employers. It is designed to enable healthcare workers to demonstrate their understanding of how to provide high quality care and support.
The Red Rock Training "Care Certificate Suite" has been created against the new mandatory Skills for Care, Skills for Health and Department of Health standards for all healthcare practitioners and encompasses the core standards. Additional Level 1 content is included that meets Standard 11 (Safeguarding Children) and Standard 12 is partially met through our "Principles of First Aid" course and when blended with mandatory practical Life Support instruction, the suite supports the delivery of a fully documented and tracked solution to your Care Certificate responsibilities. Once complete, the Certificate issued will need to be signed off "locally" to confirm completion.
